Weather was perfect for a wonderful day at the Christmas Under the Oaks annual event in Clearwater, FL on Sunday, Nov 15th. We were proud to present three fun filled tents of golden goodies, tasty treats and an education station which featured a board with many of our GRRMF goldens and lots of information about our rescue.
As a special arrangement made just for GRRMF with our west coast coordinator, Debbie and the Clearwater event coordinator, several of our four legged representatives of GRRMF rotated through the different shifts, wowing the crowds with their gentle golden grace and enthusiasm!
So many wonderful people stopped by to greet us, make a special purchase or donation and learn about our rescue from our informed volunteers. We were so honored and touched by one little girl who emptied her change purse to contribute to the care of our goldens. We thank all our supporters on Sunday and every day…we could not do what we do without you!
And speaking of getting it done! Our heartfelt thanks for their commitment to GRRMF goes out to our special west coast volunteers of the day!
