Are you ready to meet a su-paw model? Meet Dakota. She is long and lean and has legs for days! At only two-years-old and 76-pounds, Dakota is a big puppy through and through. She is as smart as she is beautiful.
Dakota’s fosters say she loves, loves, lovessssss to run, hop and play. They say she reminds them of a cute deer frolicking and racing. If Dakota was on a doggie track team, they say she would medal in the high jump and long jump.

Her favorite thing to do is to present her tug-toys and ask her humans to play tug-o-war. Dakota has fun, puppy energy and curiosity about everything, but she is past the baby stages of chewing on shoes or furniture.

Dakota would thrive in a patient, fun home that could help her continue her training, especially leash walking. She knows basic commands and continuing her exposure with force-free positive reinforcement training would help her shine.

Dakota is house trained and does not need to be isolated in a crate. In fact, she prefers not to be.
As much as she loves to play, Dakota has the motto ‘play hard/sleep hard’, down. She will find a spot to curl up in or stretch out to take naps. Her ‘off button’ is a nice belly rub, as she will stop and lay there for as long as you will rub her belly.
Dakota is a people dog and loves to cuddle up next to her humans and rest her head on a lap. She is very expressive physically and vocally and will always tell you with her eyes or a short woof if she wants something. She does sometimes bark if she’s really excited, but overall, she is fairly a quiet dog.
