Harley couldn’t be happier than when she and her mom visit The Harrison and the Pinellas Library in Wildwood, the Day Break Club, The Villages’ Residence and Fire Stations 44, 40 and 51.
While everyone, from the residents at the Harrison to the firefighters, loves the team’s scheduled visits, Diane finds it especially inspiring to have
the children at the Pinellas Library read to Harley. Not only do they love being in her company, it’s also helping them build their reading skills, while providing Harley the opportunity to “give back” to the community.
Taking full advantage of the free time she has, Harley loves to exercise. This includes going for daily walks, going to the park, and fetching a ball. She also joined her mom and her daughter when they travelled to the Bonita Springs Dog Beach, where she went swimming and paddleboarding. Woof about having one wonderful time!
What warms Diane’s heart most about Harley is her passion for snuggling. She also sits lovingly and attentively by Diane’s mother when she gives her eye drops in the morning: as if she were a “nurse” assisting her.
On Harley’s own list of loves are being with people, riding in the golf cart and eating anything and everything, including fruit.
As for the future? This turbo-charged team intends to continue participating and volunteering in their community.
