Blaze Ajay’s Success Story

Blaze Ajay’s Success Story

Blaze made his forever family feel blessed when he bounded blissfully into their lives!

They had lost their 13 ½-year-old golden five months before and his mom had a hole in her heart. Blaze, who is just an absolute joy, filled it up for her.

Putting the “L” into LOVE, Blaze loves snuggling with his parents, although he doesn’t give kisses, “yap” talking when he wants something, almost like a person, going for walks and for car rides and accompanying his dad to the post office. He also loves playing with dogs at the dog park and engaging with every person he meets. And because he loves other dogs so much, his dad got him a 9-month-old German shepherd brother named Max for Christmas 2023. Not only does Blaze love being a big brother, he’s taught Max how to be part of the family, and they are virtually inseparable: Blaze is also the boss!

Particularly fond of ropes, he really likes shredding them, but he doesn’t eat them. He simply tears them up and moves on to the next thing. Although he also likes balls, he doesn’t really play fetch – it’s more like playing games of “keep away.” Since he rides so well in the car, Blaze has vacationed with his family twice so far, to visit their grandchildren, with whom he’s so very gentle and loving.

He makes his mom laugh constantly. He gets these bursts of energy and runs through the house, sliding on the tile and jumping from couch to chair to bed. Having now has mastered the “slide,” however, he no longer bumps into the walls.

Because Blaze is so muscular and strong, his parents took him for training shortly after adopting him to allow them to walk “paw-fectly” and to get out in public. Being highly intelligent, he caught on very quickly and earned his good behavior certification. Despite a bit of a stubborn streak, Blaze, admits his adoring mom, is such a sweet soul.
