Gabbie greeted her adoring adopters with gentleness and grace.
They were particularly pleased to welcome this gorgeous golden into their home. It had been awhile since Belle, their previous golden, had passed and they had been waiting to adopt again. Although Gabbie was initially quite reserved, she quickly became comfortable with them.
Not only is Gabbie a big part of her new family, she pretty much runs the show! Curious about anything and everything, this “nosy” miss especially enjoys investigating her environment, both indoors and out: whether it’s the house itself or the large backyard where she cheerfully chases after lizards.
While her favorite toy is a large stuffed moose that she carries around with her everywhere, Gabbie’s favorite pastime seems to be “rough housing.” Then there’s her tendency to “pancake” if she doesn’t want to do something or walk in a certain direction which people find amusing.
Still at work on getting more comfortable in vehicles, Gabbie and her family haven’t yet taken any trips, but practice will definitely make this bright and beautiful student perfect.
“Overall, Gabbie is a great dog and a pleasure to be around,” admits her mom. “We are so very, very happy with her.”
