When big, blond Landry Odom, now called Biscuit, bounded into his family’s lives, he brightened their days forever!
Although Biscuit was originally a foster, the moment his future mom saw him at the vet’s office, she knew he was destined to be with her. He was all legs, cuter than cute, with so many skin folds around his face that he looked like a Shar-pei.
Sweet and snuggly, Biscuit, at 70 pounds, loves cuddling and hiding his head in cushions as if his family can’t see him. Passionate about stealing shoes and socks, he even tries to follow Cocoa under the bed and into small spaces. And yet, he has a very calming presence. He also loves children. Whenever he sees them, his tail immediately starts to wag.
Biscuit loves to ride in any and all vehicles, including the family’s jeep and SUV. His mom has to coax him out when they arrive home. He goes inside, lies down, and only moves to see if she has some food for him after a run through the drive-in.
Always an excellent passenger on car rides, Biscuit has been all over Florida, to North Carolina and to Georgia. In Georgia, he ran around with his two lab cousins. Not surprisingly, though, Cocoa, at 30 pounds, led the large lab pack!
Biscuit does, however, have hip dysplasia. But after his family consulted with their vet and a surgeon, they’re not having any surgery done at the moment. They’re giving him plenty of exercise as well as providing him with physical therapy and various other treatments.
On the brighter side, bright Biscuit recently completed puppy training at a local school.
