Little did Lyn, now known as Fyn, know that her foster home would ultimately be her forever home!
Fyn’s foster mom decided to adopt her because she was so traumatized when she arrived that she couldn’t bear the thought of her having to learn to trust someone all over again. On adoption day, she was so relieved that she would have the chance to turn Fyn’s life around and help her become the golden she was meant to be.
“I absolutely love it when she ‘sploots’ and her front legs are crossed,” admits Fyn’s adoring mom. “It’s almost like a pose because she knows she’s pretty. After nearly one year, she now loves toys, lying on her back, holding them between her front legs, smiling at them and talking to them in soft grunts. Not only does she make a noise like Chewbacca on ‘Star Wars’ when she’s happy, she does it when she knows she’s about to get a snack and while she’s being petted.”
“Fyn’s antics with her toy ‘friends’ have us laughing daily,” concludes her mom. “Her random sploots in puddles when she’s tired are always a treat. She’s an absolute blast and she’s taught me so much about patience and having to earn trust. She definitely is my sidekick.”
