Oliver Mikie’s Success Story

Oh, to be loved by outgoing and obliging Oliver, known now as Ollie!

 

On adoption day, his family was, to say the least, OVERJOYED. They knew he belonged with them the second they saw him. He was so sweet and so gentle, they couldn’t and still can’t get used to how cute he was and still is!

 

Not only are they far more active with Ollie in their lives, he continues to bring them so much happiness and always keeps them laughing. They love that they can include him with the rest of their family, even the babies, and he instinctively knows to be gentle. They also love the way he gets the zoomies and runs through the house at top speed, flinging his toys in the air so that he can run after them and hops about like a bunny whenever he gets a treat or goes for the “walkies” he ADORES! (All of the neighbors love him and have commented on what a happy dog Ollie is). And although Ollie’s obsessed with squirrels, he’s never caught one.

 

Next to his “walkies,” Ollie loves getting Puppuccinos at Starbucks and playing with his Lamb Chop toy. Because he gets car sick, the family hasn’t gone on any big trips, but after numerous training sessions to accustom him to car rides, he enjoys going on short trips to his grandparents’ house, where he loves running around their large yard.

 

Already known for his goofiness, Ollie especially enjoys finding a pillow to rest his head on whenever he sleeps and shoving his head in between the couch pillows when he takes a nap.
